Narisa Pongklang is the “Lisa” in Lingerie and Bridal by Lisa. After eleven years of designing thousands of elegant gowns for some of the most prominent families of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Lisa brought her lifetime of experience in formal wear design to the United States.

Having grown up working in her family’s tailoring business; Lisa is an expert in the design and alteration of elegant apparel. As a little girl in Thailand she excelled in evening wear fashion. Beading, embroidering, and sewing custom-made gowns are her family’s specialty. She loved working alongside her mother and sister to make beautiful things.

Lisa’s mother, however, had other plans for Lisa, encouraging her to focus on academic ventures, like medicine or finance. But Lisa’s creative nature and love of people prevailed. Lingerie and Bridal by Lisa is known for outstanding personal service and unique quality.

When she arrived in the United States in 1999, Lisa became certified for fitting bras and mastectomy lingerie. She then purchased Katherine’s Lingerie, a one-story business on Route 46 West in Parsippany, NJ. Within two years Lisa expanded her business to the second floor, bringing in a complete line of wedding gowns, evening wear, prom gowns, bridesmaids dresses and bridal accessories. She then renamed her store Lingerie and Bridal by Lisa.
